Subject: [ACCESSPARTNERS-L] Nominations for Student Affairs outstanding faculty and staff awards

The UM Student Affairs is seeking nominations for its Faculty and Staff Recognition awards. 
Disability Services for Students normally nominates faculty and staff whom DSS staff wishes to recognize. This year, our office seeks external nominations from Access Partners participants. 

Disability Services would like to recognize one or two UM faculty and staff who serve as a role model for going above and beyond in supporting students with disabilities at the University of Montana. The recognition takes place at the Student Affairs Faculty and Staff Recognition Reception on May 3, 2016. 

The nomination is asked to provide a name of nominee, nominee's department, and brief statement (max. 60 words) of the nominee's contributions. Please send your nomination to [log in to unmask] by 5 p.m. on Monday, March 7, 2016.  

Examples of who should be nominated: 
*	Has go above and beyond support students with disabilities in the execution of their 
Has significantly contributed to an innovative way to support students with disabilities. 
Has positively influenced other faculty and staff to create an inclusive and accessible environment at UM.  

*	No nomination of Disability Services staff, Deans, Directors, and/or Administrators.  

Please give serious consideration to nominate a faculty member or staff who deserve the recognition.
