ACC001: What you need to know about UM and digital accessibility

A quick overview of Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility (EITA) with a focus on 
what support is available for you followed by practical step-by-step instructions for creating 
accessible documents.  Iíll leave time for a short question and answer period.  Attend either in 
person or while sitting in your office and participating from a distance.  (Please email or call 
instructor (243-5452) for directions on how to take the class remotely no less than 24 hours 
before the class.)

ACC306: Working with PDFs to create accessibility

Much of the accessibility discussion on campus has focused on creating accessible documents 
from the start.  This class will focus on what to do with existing inaccessible or largely 
inaccessible documents.

ACC390: Alt tag-athon

Visual-only items in documents and on web sites are not accessible without alt tags. This 
includes simple images, complex drawings and pictures and charts and graphs.  Bring your 
most difficult images to workshop to learn and practice basic principles that will help you know 
how create great alt tags in difficult situations.  (In conjunction with Montana Accessibility 
Interest Groupís February presentation on complex images -
